- Olive oil applied to dry lips also has a beneficial effect, with calming effects and making the skin more supple;

Preventive Methods:
Because the lips do not have sebaceous glands (glands that produce the fat substance),they are prone to drying and chapping if they are exposed to extreme weather conditions (cold, strong wind or excessive heat).

- If you expose yourself to strong sun you should use creams with filtering effect;
- Be sue only to use lipsticks with hydrant qualities, which help protecting your lips;
- During winter, if it is very hot in the house put pots of water on the stove to get some moisture in the air (especially at night);

These natural remedies are great for me because I can't wear lipstick all the time cause I can't stand it on my lips.
