Menstrual Cycle Disorders

Menstrual cycle disorders are common throughout the reproductive life of women, especially during puberty and before menopause. They are caused mostly by some hormonal disorders. However, the local, gynecological causes should not be neglected such as: uterine fibromatose, adenoids, erosion of the internal genital tract.

The hormonal Menomethroragyes are irregular bleedings caused by the partial and acyclic detachment of some portions of the uterine mucosa. After excluding the organic causes of the local bleedings, as in blood and vascular diseases with deficiency of haemostasis, it is given the diagnosis: functional neuromethrolagy.
During puberty, and before menopause they can get really severe, enough to complicate to a severely anemic syndrome. So because the cause of menomethrolagyes are hormonal, the syndrome benefit from medical treatment highly effective, based on the synthesis hormones: estrogen and progesterone. An environment without conflicts contribute to balancing the sick.

Adjusting the Menstrual Cycle Using the Shepherds Purse Plant

Shepherds purse is a herbaceous plant, annual or biennial that grows in sunny or semi-shadowed areas, on arid to very wet soils. On medicinal purposes we use the aerial part of the plant. Harvesting is done during April-May, during flowering and when fruits are rare.

Due to the hemostatic and uterotonic actions, they are used in uterine bleedings, as menstrual flow adjuster and as a calmant for abdominal pain caused by dysmenorea.

To regulate the menstrual cycle I recommend an infusion of 10g of shredded plant in 200 ml of boiling water, from which you take 4-5 tablespoons sweetened with honey or sugar daily; the treatment begins 10 days before the appearance of the menstrual cycle.
